The battle of the "O's" drew the attention of millions of people around the world. It was a new moon night when the swash buckling operation of the American intelligence blew apart the most wanted terrorist of all times "Osama bin Laden"! The way in which the US intelligence took control of the Pakistani air space is awe inspiring. I was bowled by the fact that the American commandos entered into Pakistani air space without being detected. The efficiency and accuracy with which they carried on the well planned operation is greatly commendable. "Geronimo EKIA" was the sentence that the American president Barrack Obama and the secretary of state Hillary Clinton waited for with desperation and when they heard it they gave a sigh of relief! They had finished the most wanted person of all time! I appreciate the fact that the US intelligence kept the ISI and the Pakistani government out of this operation because any news passed on to the Pakistani government would have alerted Geronimo and he would have fled the country even before the operation had begun. The US President should be applauded for his decision to send commandos to shoot down the terrorists instead of choosing the easier and less risky decision of blowing away that portion of the land by dropping a bomb. This shows that he is a man with a good heart. He did not want to disturb the civilians and thus he chose the harder and riskier decision of sending commandos into the mansion of the most wanted man in the world!
Pakistan government's reaction
The statement by the Pakistan government that they were not informed about the attack only proves that they are inefficient and untrustworthy! They had inside their country, the most wanted man and they were not least bothered to take an effort to finish him off! Statements by the Pakistan government justifies that they prefer words to action! How is it possible for a terrorist like Osama to establish a living in the heart of the Pakistan military force unless he gets inside support? The death of Osama is a very significant break through in the war against terrorism but this does not mean that it will put an end to terrorism. Pakistan government will have to become vigilant and drive away terrorism from both their nation and the world.

The Military might and beauty of the operation might be too good. But behind it is the ugly reality that Osama was after all nurtured from the scrap by US. A friend turned foe. No disrepect for victims of terrorism but we must all remember that he is a by product of bad US Foriegn policy.Same applicable for Saddam Hussein as well... And very fact that America didn't press Pakistan on issues of Terrorism after Osama's death (considering he died in Pakistan) is even more disturbing and testimony of Uncle Sam's opportunism...
